We are packed and ready to go. We leave from Dallas Friday at 12:pm and arrive in San Diego at 1pm.
I am getting really excited about it. I am not taking my overnight case. Put everything in smaller bags and putting in my big suitcases. 4 pr of shoes, and 5 pr of pants and a bunch of tops.. My carry on's are my camera bag and my HUGE purse I bought for the trip. It's really one of those messenger bags. And converts to a back pack if I need to. But I have never really found back packs comfortable.
I figure I'll need lots of room at SD zoo and Universal studio.
The surgery is the 3rd and they will send him home the 4th. We have to move that day from the fisher house according to Kevin to another place. I think that's kind of mean to do him that way so soon after surgery..
Carrie and I are having a good time. Unity is a pill but a beautiful, intelligent pill.

You title the post "The Trip" but are you aware that in Californis a "trip" is something to do with LSD? I hope that Kevin is well enough to give you a much-deserved hug. Take care Georgia!
